Ryan Edwards Wife Mackenzie Posts Quote About Struggles As The Man Is Still Behind Bars

Ryan Edwards is still serving his sentence in prison after being arrested for heroin possession. In the meantime, the former Teen Mom star’s wife, Mackenzie Standifer is trying her very best to stay positive through it all!

The star took to her IG to post an ambiguous message about ‘struggles.’

The quote by Brene Brown reads: ‘What we don’t need in the midst of struggle is shame for being HUMAN.’

As fans know, Mackenzie’s hubby is set to be released from jail after serving for about two and a half more months.

This decision was taken after a court appearance in which a judge ruled that the case will be continued up until April 15.

This was confirmed by the Clerk of Court for Red Bank in Tennessee, who previously told HollywoodLife that ‘yes, the Ryan Edwards case’s been continued to April 15, and he’s going to stay in the county jail until then.’

Ryan was taken into police custody on January 23 after being charged with theft of services.

Reportedly, he left a bar without paying for six whiskeys back in December.

Since he was on probation, when he reported to the Hamilton County’s probation office, he was arrested for the outstanding warrant.

He was also booked for another outstanding warrant from 2017, for possession of heroin.

The outlet supposedly obtained the police documents about the case that read: ‘A search of the vehicle located around fourteen hypodermic needles, one loaded with heroin. I located a small plastic bag of a dark substance tied in the center console. I asked Ryan Edwards what it was and he replied, ‘It is heroin, and I have a problem.’ Two silver spoons with residue were also located. A small black scale was located in the same black backpack.’
